Lexus's Approved Used Scheme

Scheme name: Lexus Select Approved Pre-Owned

Warranty period: All Select Approved Pre-Owned Lexus vehicles are supplied with one year's manufacturer's equivalent warranty with unlimited mileage cover. All vehicles with less than a full year of manufacturer's warranty remaining will require a Mandatory Warranty to be applied for. Vehicles under 60,000 miles and with a full year of manufacturer's warranty remaining do not require a Mandatory Warranty to be applied. Any Lexus vehicles regardless of age or mileage qualify. All Select Approved Pre-Owned Lexus Car Warranties have the same level of cover as the Lexus new vehicle warranty, with the exception of batteries, interior trim and corroded exhausts.

History check? Independent vehicle history check, independent vehicle mileage check, service history check.

Inspection? All models have undergone an exhaustive 150 point examination by Lexus technicians, and a hybrid health check on hybrid models. All Lexus Select Approved Pre-Owned vehicles undergo a ‘Safety & Quality check’ before they enter the programme. A specialist Lexus technician carefully inspects the car’s overall condition – outside, inside and underneath. After the inspection and any technical adjustments, the car is valeted inside and out.

Breakdown Cover: 12 months Lexus Roadside Assistance 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, anywhere in the UK (including cover while driving or being carried as a passenger in other cars). It includes European assistance for a maximum duration of 90 days – now available in 44 countries, Home Start, Roadside Recovery Service and Lexus Accident Assistance.

Exchange policy: 30 days/1000 miles.

Extras: All Lexus Select Approved Pre-Owned vehicles must have a service history that is approved by the Lexus retailer.
