Tayside Police

Dundee and Perth make up the largest concentration of cars in Tayside, with much of the rest of the region made up of small towns and villages.

Tayside Police only provided limited data for its car crime statistics, which artificially lowers the entire region’s average offence rate. Although Tayside records just 44 offences per 10,000 cars, it’s important to bear in mind that this doesn’t include statistics for criminal damage.

As with all areas in Scotland, a lack of detailed data means that we are unable to display a heatmap for the region.

On 1 April 2013 Lothian and Borders Police was subsumed into Police Scotland.
