BMW 3 series ABS pump
I owned a BMW325i in Hong Kong bought new with only 4998km. It was seldom driven but maintained with BMW regularly. BMW fixed the ABS sensors but recently the ABS light went on again. BMW told me it was the ABS pump this time and suggested a repair cost of around US$4,000. I am very unhappy that for such a low mileage car, the ABS system has been so problematic. I want BMW to fix it for free even though it is out of warranty. Do I have a case to fight BMW. Thay previously fixed the ABS sensors for free out of warranty.

I have no idea what legal rights you would have against BMW or its dealer in Hong Kong. I can tell you that the fault is probably the brake pressure sensor inside the ABS/ESP module and there is a fix available in the UK by the excellent www.ecutesting.co.uk/ but this involves extracting the module, sending it to them to be fixed, then refitting when it comes back. Costs about £400 + removing and re-fitting.
