Ford Focus fault codes - what do they mean?

My 2006 Ford Focus diesel is displaying fault messages when starting, with "engine system fault" then "speed inhibitor enabled". The car performs normally at highway speeds and only has this issue from standing start. Any ideas?

Ford fits this system in place of a DMF in order to protect the drivetrain. Yours seems to be over-functioning and there is probably a reason for this so it needs checking by a garage.
